Eric Blair: Welcome! My point of view is that we are at an historical turning point. We are mostly unaware of our situation and now, before an economic crisis causes a political crisis, we average Americans should be discussing what direction we want to be moving in. If we do not, we will find ourselves in the midst of civil unrest and with our govt making hasty changes with little input from us, possibly (likely?) changes of which we don't approve. So this is my voice added to the national conversation. If you find yourself agreeing with my proposals, why don't you promote the viewpoint by sharing as widely as you can? If you do not, feel free to correct my inanity in the comments section.
